Job Summary
Teach and facilitate learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments using our state-approved CNA curriculum. Demonstrate nursing skills and healthcare best practices while coaching students to develop clinical and professional competencies. Evaluate student performance, maintain attendance and documentation, and supervise clinical experiences to ensure safe patient care practices. Manage classroom dynamics and ensure compliance with all state and federal training requirements. Foster a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability within the Certified Nurse Aide Training Program.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of one (1) year (1,600 hours) of nursing experience in a long-term care setting within the past five (5) years
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future healthcare professionals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supervising CNAs or nurse aides
- Previous teaching, training, precepting, or adult education experience
- Experience working with diverse adult learner populations
