Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed infusion therapy in ambulatory clinic settings as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Administer intravenous and injectable medications, monitor patients, obtain lab specimens, and document care in accordance with nursing practice acts and HIPAA/ACHC regulations. Educate patients and caregivers on disease and drug-specific information; participate in on-call rotations and travel to outlying clinics as needed. Maintain up-to-date nursing knowledge through in-services and continuous learning; demonstrate compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care while supporting Palmetto Infusion’s mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
- 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy
- BLS or obtain upon hire
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team
