Job Summary
Registered Nurse Clinician provides infusion therapy in ambulatory and home-based settings; works Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with Saturdays as needed, travels to Palm Coast and nearby clinics. Responsibilities include applying nursing process to assess and care for patients, administering intravenous and injectable medications, monitoring for adverse drug reactions, providing disease- and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers, maintaining HIPAA/ACHC compliance, participating in on-call rotations, traveling to outlying clinics, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. Requires RN licensure, 1 year infusion experience, BLS (or obtained on hire), proficiency with Outlook/Word/Excel, strong teamwork, adaptability under pressure, and ability to work across multiple care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
- 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy
- BLS or obtain upon hire
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all Palmetto Infusion team
