Job Summary
Registered Nurse in ICU units at Sutter Health in Sacramento. Responsibilities include assessing, coordinating delivery and evaluation of nursing care, direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute setting. Develops and coordinates a care plan incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors; fosters collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers; adheres to policies, standards, and regulations to promote optimal patient experience. May float to MICU, CICU, CVSICU and NSSICU. Requirements include nursing degree, California RN license, BLS, ACLS; 2 years of relevant experience with ICU experience preferred. Skills include clinical knowledge, communication, time management, teamwork, privacy of PHI, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule: Nights, Full Time, 36 hours per week; benefits and comprehensive total rewards provided.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: RN-Registered Nurse of California
- Licensure/Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
- Department/Certifications: ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Experience: Typical experience 2 years of recent relevant experience; ICU experience preferred.
