Job Summary
Psychiatric RN/LPN PRN position overseeing daily clinical study activities at CenExel’s CNS-focused clinical trials site. Responsibilities include monitoring vitals and lab tests, executing clinical research protocols, maintaining study documents, potential recruitment of study subjects, screening for eligibility, completing Case Report Forms, coordinating with sponsor representatives, attending meetings, reporting adverse events, conducting informed consent, ensuring proper collection and shipment of laboratory specimens, and upholding GCP/ FDA/CenExel SOPs. Requires RN licensure in the working state, psychiatric nursing experience, BLS or ACLS (or ability to obtain), IV certification (site-dependent), 0-1 year of experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work on-site with a 2-3 day/week schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with possible weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in the state in which the employee will be working
- Must be BLS or ACLS certified or able to obtain
- 0-1 year of experience is required
- Must have Psychiatric nursing experience
- Must be IV certified, depending on site
- Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with patients
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Must reflect the professional image of the company, upholding the company vision in actions and demeanor
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
