Job Summary
The Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN role for EmVenio. The CMRN visits adult study participants to complete mobile visits, performing blood specimen collection and processing (dry ice handling to UPS if needed), and coordinating with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to finalize visits and accurate source documentation. Responsibilities include phlebotomy/peripheral blood draw, IVs, subcutaneous injections, vital signs, ECG, urine collection and pregnancy testing, and detailed patient-record documentation. Schedule is M-W during standard business hours; work location includes in-home visits in Meridian and Boise, Idaho. Requires RN license in practice state(s), CPR certification, TB testing, and reliable driving; preferred multilingual ability and potential for GCP certification. Salary: $60.00 hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay; benefits include being part of PCM and PCM’s home-care mission.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
- One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
- Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
- Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
- Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
- Must have and maintain a current TB Test
- Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
- An ability to speak other languages
