Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities related to nursing clinical areas across the continuum of care. Serve as a strategic consultant for nursing clinical performance initiatives to create, implement, and evaluate multi-faceted competency-based programs, delivery mechanisms, and clinical performance. Collaborate with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies, while developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing and clinical educational plans/programs. Utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals and consult on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development programs. Manage performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to support practice at the highest extent of licensure. Requires at least three years of Adult ER experience, some education experience, and travel to Anderson one day a week.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
- At least 3 years RN experience in an Adult ER
- Some education experience (preceptor, supervisor, or charge RN)
- Desire to educate
Desired Qualifications
- Will travel to Anderson at least one day a week
