Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned MedSurg Oncology areas. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during night shift rotations. Assess daily patient care needs, develop assignments, and set priorities appropriate to physician dynamics. Respond to patient care complaints and manage resources to maintain productivity standards. Provide input into hiring, training, and staff evaluation. Requires Registered Nurse licensure from Wisconsin and one year of cumulative job-specific experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
