Job Summary
Lead and mentor nursing teams by providing real-time education and direction to ensure staff deliver exceptional patient care. Design and execute daily care plans by aligning patient needs with specific staff expertise to maintain safe staffing levels and optimal clinical outcomes. Act as a proactive problem-solver to resolve patient or family concerns and maintain high satisfaction standards. Optimize unit workflows and resources while shaping the department's future through involvement in hiring, training, and staff development initiatives. This Registered Nurse Clinical Lead Med Surg role is based at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position requires a full-time night shift and offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Candidates must hold a Tennessee Board of Nursing credential and one year of cumulative job-specific experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Required professional licensure/certification
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
