Job Summary
Lead nursing on the Med Surg unit during night shifts; coordinate unit staffing and assign/educate nurse and support staff; assess daily patient care needs and distribute assignments to ensure population-appropriate care; address patient-care complaints; ensure availability of materials and supplies; set priorities with daily patient/physician dynamics; contribute to hiring, training, and staff development to maintain quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or transfer date
