Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing and provide inspirational leadership to ensure consistent clinical objectives and high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular ICU. Lead, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts while fostering accountability and continuous development. Apply independent judgment to plan shift dynamics, service delivery, and patient care priorities that adapt to daily physician needs. Assess daily requirements, develop assignments, and manage staffing schedules to maintain productivity standards. Facilitate efficient resource availability and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Provide input on critical talent processes, including hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of staff members.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
