Job Summary
Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to beneficiaries with routine, complex, acute, and chronic medical conditions. Assess patients to identify individualized needs, screen and triage using approved protocols, and determine appropriate disposition including emergency or follow-up care. Assist providers during examinations and procedures while educating patients and families on treatment plans and disease management. Coordinate care across the continuum, maintain accurate electronic medical records, and support case management and quality-improvement initiatives. Adhere to all nursing standards, infection-control requirements, and military treatment facility policies. Maintain clinical equipment and a safe working environment. Full-time role with varied shifts including weekends and holidays; requires U.S. citizenship and three years of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nationally accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience
- At least two years of nursing experience completed within the most recent three calendar years
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be available for weekdays, weekends, and federal holidays based on departmental requirements
