Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Registered Nurse Clinical Decision Unit, including assessing patient condition at admission and during each shift, performing procedures and documenting care as ordered, administering prescribed medications and monitoring therapeutic responses, responding to patient requests, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Collaborate with medical providers and care team to ensure high-quality outcomes and advocate for patients to support an outstanding patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN and obtain BSN within 5 years of hire date
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider required
- Masters in Nursing preferred
