Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered RN care in the Clinical Decision Unit, collaborating with medical providers and the care team. Responsibilities include admission and shift assessments, performing procedures and care as ordered, administering medications and monitoring responses, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring understanding and documentation in the medical record.
Required Qualifications
- One year of RN experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position (Grandfathering accepted)
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
