Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), including comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and clinical status, administering medications and treatments, coordinating diagnostic tests, and promptly recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, case management, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promote clear communication of test results and treatment plans, participate in discharge planning and patient education, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while adhering to clinical protocols and infection prevention practices to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- Clinical Decision Unit experience or exposure preferred
