Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Clinical Decision Unit delivers nursing care across the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients. Works with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care, coordinate and delegate care as appropriate, ensure timely documentation, and maintain professional licensure compliance. Requires an active RN license and BLS; BSN is preferred/required per update. Typical responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, coordination of care, and evaluation of outcomes, with emphasis on evidence-based practices and effective communication. 36-hour weekly schedule at Grand Junction, CO, within Intermountain Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years for RNs with less than 12 months of experience (as applicable).
