Job Summary
The Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) at Mary Free Bed is responsible for the overall operation of the rehabilitation hospital and Transitional Care Unit, with 24-hour accountability for patient care activities and staff management during assigned shifts. Key responsibilities include organizing and directing effective operations, mentoring staff, participating in hiring and evaluations, and maintaining clinical competency. The CCC must ensure the delivery of quality nursing care, implement quality improvement initiatives, prioritize patient safety, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Essential qualifications include valid Michigan RN licensure, an Associate's degree in nursing, and BLS certification, with a preference for additional credentials and experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in Michigan
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous RN experience, especially in rehabilitation or acute care setting (preferred)
