Job Summary
Triage patients for well and sick visits, administer immunizations, and perform diagnostic tests including blood draws. Review and address diagnostic testing results, input and clear medical records, and complete school, camp, and medication forms. Liaise with insurances regarding prior authorizations and coordinate care while overseeing vaccine inventory management and cold-chain storage. Provide clinical guidance to families via phone and portal messages and triage patients requiring emergency care. Work alongside a pediatrician in a fully in-office setting within the Jersey City practice of New York City's largest pediatric group.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey and in the State of New York
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and standard office software (MS Office/Google Workspace)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong, empathetic phone presence
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy
