Job Summary
Deliver personalized direct care in pediatric gastroenterology infusion, ensuring patient safety and comfort while executing physician and nursing orders with precision. Develop and manage comprehensive care plans by continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting interventions to meet evolving needs. Serve as the primary care coordinator, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to create a unified healing journey and lead proactive discharge planning in partnership with the broader care team. Requires Texas RN licensure, BLS certification, and skilled pediatric vascular access. Part-time Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Bachelor's level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrollment in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed
- Pediatric Vascular Access: Skilled in pediatric IV starts and cannulation
- One year of dedicated intravenous nursing experience
- In-depth clinical knowledge of pediatric gastroenterology IV medications and administration protocols
