Job Summary
Coordinate and administer nursing care to patients in a physician office or clinic setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Bridge episodic care within long-term outpatient relationships by facilitating patient follow-through and compliance with healthcare interventions. Skillfully assess patient needs via phone to triage them to the appropriate level of care for intervention. Administer immunizations and medications safely in accordance with policy and procedure, while facilitating completion of diagnostic testing as ordered by the physician. Provide teaching to patients, families, and significant others, and manage multifaceted communication under various emotional situations. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing, current BLS/CPR certification, and Wisconsin or Illinois RN licensure. Salary range is $28.25-$43.00/hr with PM/Night shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree: Nursing
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois based on job location assignment
- The ability to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend the English language
