Job Summary
Coordinate multidisciplinary care for cleft lip/palate and pediatric plastic surgery patients by orchestrating individualized care plans and synthesizing clinical data for the broader team. Facilitate proactive discharge planning and patient advocacy to ensure safe transitions from acute care to recovery. Serve as the primary clinical coordinator, aligning diverse healthcare disciplines to prioritize patient safety and optimal outcomes. Requires Texas RN licensure, BLS certification, and two years of pediatric nursing experience with high-acuity critical care background. Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm schedule at Dell Children's Medical Group.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Bachelor's level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed
- Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience
- Specifically focused on Pediatric care
- Proven background in high-acuity environments such as the ICU, NICU, or ER
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Cleft Lip and Palate procedures
