Job Summary
Circulating Registered Nurse for busy outpatient surgery center. Provides circulating nurse support by preparing the OR, assembling and ensuring functioning equipment, assisting anesthesia personnel, reviewing patient records, positioning the patient, maintaining aseptic technique, and coordinating with the surgical team to meet procedure requirements. Requires an active California RN license, associate degree in nursing, 2 years OR experience (3-5 preferred), and EPIC experience preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 8-hour shifts; compensation based on experience. Certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred. The role involves collaboration with the surgeon and Surgical Technician and ensuring efficient, safe patient care throughout perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing from an accredited school; California RN license active
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (preferred)
- 2 years OR experience required; 3-5 years preferred
- ASC experience preferred; Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, General & ENT experience preferred
- Electronic Medical Record experience; EPIC experience preferred
- Strong communication skills; professional conduct; ability to collaborate with surgical team
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts; pay based on experience
- Education and license: RN California license active; associate degree required
