Job Summary
As RN Circulator, provides patient-centered perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Scrubs in for procedures, assists the surgical team with instruments and supplies, ensures a sterile environment, monitors vital signs, administers prescribed medications, and observes for changes in patient condition. Delivers comprehensive patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Maintains infection control, adheres to safety and quality-improvement initiatives, and participates in audits and performance-improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. Ensures adherence to organizational policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements, with ongoing professional development to maintain clinical competency and compliance with nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
