Job Summary
Registered Nurse Circulator for PRN Day Shift in the Main Operating Room. Plans, implements, and evaluates surgical patient care in a perioperative setting across multiple surgical specialties; requires TN nursing licensure and a nursing diploma/degree; must respond within 30 minutes for on-call requirements; experienced in perioperative care with ability to work under pressure, set up and maintain sterile fields, manage equipment, and assist in a variety of OR cases (general, AEM, genitourinary, ophthalmologic, plastic, orthopedic, ENT, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, oral, and more). Proficient in aseptic technique, documentation, and patient positioning; physically capable of prolonged standing and assisting with patient handling up to 250 lbs with assistance. Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to sterile procedures are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- Previous Surgery experience
- BLS within 90 days of hire
