Registered Nurse - Circulator - Main OR - Part Time Weekends

Job Summary
Plans, implements, and evaluates surgical patient care in a timely and accurate manner within a perioperative setting. Performs comprehensive assessments, develops age-specific care plans, maintains sterile field, conducts instrument and count procedures, optimizes OR environment, and administers medications as needed. Supports staff development and training, ensures proper equipment readiness (e.g., autoclave, Omnicell), and collaborates with health care team to deliver high-quality surgical care across multiple specialties (general, genitourinary, ophthalmologic, plastic, orthopedic, ENT, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, etc.). Requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, and communicate effectively in English. Requires Tennessee nursing licensure and relevant perioperative experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- Nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Previous Surgery experience
- Prolonged standing and working for up to twelve hours a day
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- English communication (oral and written)
