Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Circulator in Main OR (Full Time Days). Plans, performs, and evaluates surgical patient care in the operating room across multiple specialties. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, adhering to aseptic technique, performing surgical counts, ensuring safe patient positioning, monitoring OR environmental conditions, handling medications and solutions safely, and supporting staff development and orientation. Requires English communication, ability to stand for extended periods, and lifting/pushing/pulling as needed. Must hold Tennessee nursing licensure and have completed a nursing diploma/degree and BLS within 90 days of hire; prior perioperative care experience is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for "on call" requirements.
- Previous Surgery experience.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
