Job Summary
Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures while managing instruments and supplies to ensure sterility. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient safety and document procedures accurately. Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members while adhering to all hospital policies and safety protocols. Requires a current Registered Nurse license with strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in a surgical setting as an RN Circulator
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in operating room protocols and procedures
