Job Summary
Registered Nurse (PRN varies) providing and supervising quality patient care within Anderson Healthcare/Community Hospital Staunton. Responsibilities include explaining procedures, administering medications, preparing equipment, initiating and managing codes, interpreting EKGs and intervening in arrhythmias, monitoring ventilatory support, maintaining ACLS/BLS, documenting nursing assessments, conducting patient education and discharge planning, contributing to quality improvement (PI) initiatives, and ensuring safety, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and appropriate use of PPE. Demonstrates professional communication, critical thinking, and time management to deliver patient- and family-centered care across age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
