Job Summary
Circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and Percutaneous Coronary Interventional (PCI) procedures, admitting and recovering pre and post cath patients. Perform hemostasis while providing direct nursing care, assuming total accountability for assigned patients. Supervise and direct the activities of Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants. Cross-train to hemodynamic monitoring. On call required. This role joins the state-of-the-art Cath Lab team at St. Francis Hospital, New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of BSN program
- NYS Nursing License
- 2 years Critical Care experience
- On call availability
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Cath Lab experience
