Job Summary
Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations including vital signs and mental status assessments for home health patients. Interpret nursing services to plan care, develop and implement nursing care plans, and coordinate total patient care with LPNs and aides. Submit visit records and referrals for paramedical services on a timely basis while evaluating care effectiveness and home situations. Provide skilled care and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. This part-time role covers Du Page, Cook, and surrounding areas with pay starting at $55 per visit. Nightingale Home Healthcare offers one-on-one patient care, referral bonuses, and a progressive orientation process.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN
- Must be willing to cover Du Page, Cook, and surrounding areas
- Current TB results (within last 12 months)
- CPR Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of liability insurance on automobile
- Driving history report
- Ability to attend orientation at our Willowbrook office for 1-3 days
Desired Qualifications
- OASIS and Wellsky (Kinser) experience
- Med-surge and wound care experience
- Physical within the last year
