Job Summary
Assess, triage, and manage chronic and acute health problems for walk-in and telephone patients while administering medications, performing EKGs, and conducting venipunctures. Counsel clients on illness management, provide patient education, and act as a liaison with specialists and insurance providers. Supervise medical assistants, conduct chart audits, and ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and HIPAA standards. Coordinate medical services for adults, pediatrics, and women's health while participating in case conferences and quality assurance activities. Travel to various ChesPenn locations as requested.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BSN
- Three (3) years in nursing or related field
- Current Pennsylvania Nursing Registration
- Current flu vaccine
- 3+ years' nursing experience
- Understanding of demographics of medically under-served communities
- Strong computer skills, including experience in an EMR environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to serve as a supportive member of a health care team
- Ability to meet approved minimal physical and medical standard
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a licensed automobile
- Complete child abuse and criminal background checks
