Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse

Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments. Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes, evaluate care effectiveness, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and provide input for hiring, training, and development. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned. Leads the Med Surg - 3S unit at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, working varying days from 7a-7p with every third weekend plus holiday rotation.
