Registered Nurse Charge Nurse -Days

RN Charge Nurse responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Oversees nursing assistants, assigns workloads, ensures resident safety, administers medications per physician orders, conducts and documents treatments, and supports care plans. Applies nursing judgment, participates in assessments, utilizes the INTERACT program to avoid unplanned hospital discharges, and collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality resident care. Requires current RN license, CPR certification, and experience in gerontological/long-term care nursing; strong communication, leadership, and regulatory/compliance skills; familiarity with electronic medical records and medication administration.
