Job Summary
RN Charge ICU position providing leadership and clinical expertise on night shift; coordinates unit resources, directs interdisciplinary care, mentors staff, ensures staffing and safety, develops and revises care plans, and maintains compliance with licensure and policies while delivering high-quality patient care in the ICU. Requires BSN, BLS, potential ACLS/PALS, and leadership capabilities to supervise and coordinate the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Unit Specific Certification as required (i.e., ACLS, PALS, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
- Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of the hire or promotion date.
