Job Summary
Role combines clinical nursing with medical claims processing. Responsibilities include processing complex claims, delivering client reports on a weekly and monthly basis, reviewing and processing consent forms to approve or deny claims, and supporting other areas of the department as needed. Requires an Alabama-licensed RN and CPC certification or active pursuit within 12 months. Must work Monday–Friday, on-site in the Alabama office. Must be able to analyze reports, identify trends in claims processing, and communicate findings clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Alabama
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or actively pursuing CPC certification within 12 months
- Ability to work Monday–Friday
- On-site in Alabama office five days a week
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team
