Job Summary
Develop and implement systems for identifying, preventing, and controlling communicable diseases while monitoring compliance with regulations. Conduct regular monitoring of infectious disease incidence among inmates, providing referrals for community follow-up and coordinating care after release. Promote a safe environment by leading monthly safety and sanitation inspections of the facility and developing infection control education programs for staff and inmates. Maintain accountability for inmates and property while adhering to safety practices. This 8-hour evening shift role is available in Centreville, MD, with a rate up to $1825 weekly plus benefits from day one. Current nursing licensure and CPR certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification

- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of experience
