Job Summary
Provide nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Assess health conditions, develop individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly. Communicate effectively with residents and families, educate and support them, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care. Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records, stay current with nursing best practices and compliance, and participate in ongoing professional development. Contribute to a positive, family-like atmosphere through teamwork, compassion, and open communication. Role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and an active RN license, with on-site responsibilities at the Poplar Bluff, MO location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing education
- Current, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
