Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition. Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care; note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This role operates in the Cardiac Decision Unit (CDU) within Ascension Saint Thomas West, Nashville, TN, on a PRN/night schedule.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from Tennessee Board of Nursing or multi-state license recognition (Compact State) prior to hire date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire
