Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients by collecting data, identifying outcomes, and developing individualized plans. Direct care delivery and coordinate with physicians, families, and ancillary staff to ensure safe patient interactions. Collaborate on shared governance, committee work, and unit projects while utilizing evidence-based research to guide practice decisions. Maintain documentation of patient responses to interventions and proper care plans. Requires a BSN (or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within three years), Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and strong analytic and interpersonal skills. Full-time evening shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role
