Job Summary
Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the CCU, ensuring every action aligns with the highest safety standards. Coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure patient care is seamless, holistic, and focused on the best possible clinical outcomes. Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real-time, acting as the vital link between the patient and the medical team through proactive communication and precise documentation. Advocate for the patient's journey by initiating and managing comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring a safe and successful transition from hospital to home. Work night shift PRN at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire
