Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Covenant Health's Float Pool with responsibilities across Cath/Angio Lab and Emergency Department, delivering professional nursing care, documenting care plans, participating in quality improvement and safety initiatives, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Requires current NH RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable; TNCC/NIHSS certifications within stated timeframes; sedation administration competence; and ability to maintain Safe Practice under Just Culture. Strong emphasis on patient safety, effective handoffs, collaboration with nurses, physicians, and instructors, and readiness for DNV survey preparedness. 3 years’ critical care experience preferred; opportunities to participate in cross-departmental care and staff development; commitment to Covenant Health values of compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Hampshire RN license required
- BLS required
- ACLS required (except for Pre-Admission Testing and Operating Room)
- PALS (for Emergency Department)
- TNCC within 18 months and NIHSS stroke scale certifications within about a year
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements
