Job Summary
Perform professional nursing care in accordance with the New York State Nursing Practice Act, carrying out assigned procedures for patient comfort and well-being. Take and record patient vital signs, perform triage for clinical questions and prescription refills, and prepare patient records for visits and education. Provide care management by communicating with community agencies and participate in scheduled team meetings to clarify roles and processes. Engage in quality improvement activities and committees as requested while maintaining compliance regulations. Work onsite at Cayuga Health in Trumansburg, NY, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited RN program
- Current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BLS Certification
- Standing-- 70%
- Sitting-- 30%
- Reaching- 80%
- Bending-- 50%
- Lifting-- must be able to lift 40lb.
- Location: Onsite at 4435 E. Seneca Rd. Trumansburg, NY.
- Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm rotating shift
- Travel: 0% Travel can be expected in this role
