Job Summary
Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, registered nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. Requires a New York Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and one year of surgical experience. BSN preferred; Associates Degree considered if enrolled in accredited BSN program.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a surgical setting (ambulatory preferred)
- 1+ years medical/surgical experience
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification required from the American Heart Association
- Passion for Endoscopy
