Job Summary
Assess, prioritize, monitor, and manage overall care for patients on various med/surg units. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, registered nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. This role is part of the Float Pool at Mercy Hospital, a 375-bed not-for-profit member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Candidates must hold a BSN, current NYS RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and at least one year of med/surg or telemetry experience.
