Job Summary
Deliver highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in the Cath Lab using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer safe, accurate, and timely medications and IVs while ensuring complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information. Support the educational process for patients, families, and significant others, maintaining a therapeutic environment through effective team communication and adherence to hospital standards. Work rotating PRN shifts of 10 hours during the week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Six months RN experience
