Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab provides highly professional, technical nursing care using the nursing process to assigned patients, directs and supervises other team members, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care in line with unit standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, state RN license (Texas or eligibility), and at least 6 months RN experience; BSN is preferred. The hospital emphasizes Magnet designation and a history as a top employer with advanced transplant programs, trauma center designation, and comprehensive stroke care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
