Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Cath Lab using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications and IVs safely while maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care and ensure complete, accurate patient information communication. Supervise assigned team members and take personal responsibility for performance and professional growth. Work M-F from 0700-1730 with call, requiring a BSN, Texas RN license, and 12 months of RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
- Works with confidential material
- Vision Essential
