Job Summary
Registered Nurse — Cath Lab/Interventional. Plans, coordinates, and implements care for adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, serving on the cath lab procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor. Preps patients in holding, ensures timely H&P information, administers medications for critically ill patients, and reports findings to physicians. Provides patient and family education, assists with perioperative procedures, documents charges, and maintains vigilance for safety and quality care in a high-stakes environment. Must be able to work variable schedules with call requirements and participate in weekend rotations; requires ongoing proficiency in sterile technique, monitoring, and coordination of care during interventional procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in at least one applicable state(s)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- HCP certification as required by state(s) and facility
- Ability to work in Cardiac Cath Lab environment (circulator/scrub/monitor)
- Experience with perioperative care and patient/family education (preferred but no experience required)
