Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab provides direct patient care, engaging in patient assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluation. Responsibilities include coordinating care with other healthcare providers, educating patients and families on care management, and addressing ethical and legal issues. Important qualifications include 1+ year of acute care RN experience, recent Cath Lab experience, and necessary licenses and certifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- 1+ year to 2 years prior acute care Registered Nurse experience
- Minimum of one-year recent Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Nursing/RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure
