Job Summary
Admit, recover, and discharge patients from the Cardiovascular Lab while providing direct care, evaluating outcomes, and adjusting nursing processes to ensure optimal patient care. Perform head-to-toe assessments and post-procedure evaluations, monitor and position patients during procedures, and administer moderate sedation under physician guidance. Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient conditions, assess equipment readiness, and obtain supplies to meet cardiovascular lab team needs. Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. Required Qualifications
- Current NV nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certificate
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care setting
- Willing to take call/standby in the Cardiovascular lab as needed
- Current POC certification within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- Cath Lab experience
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
